Versaverter 4 Alpha 1 Released

The first new release of Versaverter since 2005

PawPrint is thrilled to announce the availability of the first Alpha release of Versaverter 4. The first release since 2005 primarily addresses usability and opens Versaverter to the Mac and Linux users (and any other platforms where Adobe Air will run)

Alpha Software
Please keep in mind that this is an initial alpha preview release of the Versaverter 4 software and as such we expect there to be some bugs. The feature set is also not yet complete so some things like the conversion calculator (formerly Baseverter) are not yet available.

Cross Platform
Because Versaverter has been completely re-written using the Adobe Air framework it is now available for Mac and PC users - hopefully soon too for mobile as Adobe expands the Air platform.

New Intelligent Search
This is probably the single most useful new feature. Just start typing into the search field and Versaverter will immediately jump to the closest Unit and/or Unit category that matches what you typed. This is by far the fastest way to navigate Versaverter´s extensive unit database.
