XML for adding US Survey Foot
Please consider adding the US Survey Foot to the length category. This unit is useful for survey, geodesy, GIS, and state plane coordinate applications.
Here is the XML I propose: <vv:unit type="formula"><vv:symbol>ft</vv:symbol><vv:name type="SI">foot (US Survey foot)</vv:name><vv:convert-from>X*3937/1200</vv:convert-from><vv:convert-to>X*1200/3937</vv:convert-to></vv:unit> As a formula, this XML provides an unambiguous reference for the user. |
