Viewing The WT Synch Log - V6.x
I just upgraded two of my Windows XP SP2 systems from WT V5.5.2.748 to V6.0.0.941. This version is a lot more stable under XP SP2, but viewing the Synch Log is strange.
I installed WT in "D:/Program Files/WorldTime". The Synch Log, along with the config files, is apparently now put in "D:/Program Files/WorldTime/data". Yet the "View Log" button under Synchronization tries (and fails) to open "D:/Program Files/WorldTime/wtsynclog.wtd". Is there any way to change either of those behaviours (either change the location of the log, or the location where the button looks, I donīt care), so the button is useful? Right now, I have to use Windows Explorer to view the Synch Log (and deal with the WE file associations dialogue). And why canīt I type a backspace in the program paths (above) instead of a forward space? And apologies for the duplicated post - dunno where that came from. This forum is freaky. |
