REQ: Proxy Server username and password options
Is it possible for the inclusion of extra code that allows the input of a proxy serverīs username and password as well as being able to input the actual server settings? I can input the server name and proxy number but if WT tries to access the net it just fails/hangs and i assume the reason is that with some programs like this my domain, login name, and password have to be input before access is granted.

REQ: Proxy Server username and password options
Greetings,
First I must say that this is an impressive product. Yes it needs more fine tuning & tweaking (and simplification in some cases), but I like the many powerful features of it (except the alarm features, which I think need quite a bit of work for more flexibility/options). Now for the proxy post: I would add my request to this one for such feature. I canīt synch or update WT. Our firewall/proxy is an http proxy, as I was told. Without a provision in WT to input the proxyīs username & password, there is no way to access the outside world (to go through the firewall). I have other simpler time programs, and I can access time servers easily. I hope this feature will be added soon so I can use WT at the office. Thanks. |
