D.S.T. Function Is Unreliable
When I try to make up my own Daylight Savings Time rule for a region, first it is difficult to get the day of the week I choose to register in my rule. Secondly, once I finally get it to read my precise rule of DST in the "Astronomical Data" box, still, the calendar is not reliable to adhere to my rule. The same can also be said for the rules that are already in the program. I am using the free version. Is this a bug, or am I doing something wrong?

Re: D.S.T. Function Is Unreliable
Dear Tristin:
Supposedly, we can make new rules, under "New Rule". Again however, I have found the entire mechanism for the programīs DST features to be unreliable. I found it even hard to make my changes to DST even be acknowledged 100% the way I set it up, to the "astronomical data" box. --I had difficulty changing the day of the week for it to take effect. Even when I can get my DST rule change to be acknowledged on the "astronomical data" box, I find the program is unreliable to adhere to the rule anyway! Maybe they need to upgrade this version of the program. Steve |

Re: D.S.T. Function Is Unreliable
Relative to TimeZones... note that the timezone for Austin, Texas is WRONG. The daylight savings difference between L.A. and Austin is 2 hours, not 1. Anybody know how to fix this? (Tristin@usa.net )
